Go Cougs!

This weekend my brother graduated from WSU so we went home for a short weekend vacation and had tons of fun with our families! We visited my parents at their house on Friday and Juliette loved playing with Grandpa on the trampoline!

During the graduation Juliette got hungry so my dad bought her a pretzel...they sold food at the concessions during the graduation...That's weird to me.

Aaren almost missed his graduation by sleeping in! Thankfully my dad got to his apartment early and woke him up...so needless to say Aaren was in the last 8 of the graduates.

They showed each of the graduates on two different screens.

After the ceremony Aaren was having fun hanging out with Juliette (which was really Aaren following Juliette up and down the stairs...and of course he was the best uncle ever after that) :)

Aaren lives right next to the palouse so we thought we get some family pictures.

And here is Aaren and his buddy, Nate. We had fun meeting Nate after graduation and we all hung out at Aaren's apartment, had lunch and cake, and took lots of pictures. Thanks to Nate for his help in  taking them! After we all left Pullman we went over to Bill & Melody's for a fun BBQ!

April Adventures.

Juliette and I went home for Easter and visited with family while Steven stayed home and finished his finals and studied for the MCAT. Juliette was able to play with her cousin and it's so cute...they totally love eachother.

Easter morning Juliette woke up to these fun things. :)

We went out to my Grandma Peggy's house and had an Easter dinner...it was pure chaos but wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else!

After we got back from WA, Steven took his MCAT and we all stayed in a hotel and played in the pool! You can't tell in this picture but I totally spaced bringing a swimmer diaper so Juliette had to wear a regular one (Shhh..don't tell anyONE!) and it swelled up SOOO BIG! Seriously her booty was HUGE!!

In the car I gave her a little piece of chocolate.....it was tiny ....and this is what I turned around to find!

The weather has been much warmer around here this month and so we found some new cute clothes in Juliette's closet.

Juliette was eating and my Mom wanted to Skype with us so I brought her into our room.

This was Juliette's first time she went to the bathroom on the toilet! We're proud parents!!! Hahaha.

 On Easter Sunday, Juliette wasn't feeling well and she didn't do much hunting for eggs. Also, Steven wasn't with us because we were in Washington visiting family so he didn't even get to see her hunt for eggs at all. So I saved some and this morning we had our own little Easter egg hunt. :)

 Juliette was sooo cute! Every time she found an egg she'd gasp with her mouth wide open (she probably gets that part from me).

 This is our homemade green house and it is amazing! This weekend Steven planted our garden and we planted it early because we are moving in July and want to have something to get from it before we leave. Steven did a great job making it himself and working against the wind. I couldn't help much because I had Lacy and Juliette being monkeys.

We sure are lucky parents! This sweet girl brings us a joy we never knew we'd find!

Presents

Juliette opening her presents! She even opened most of them herself...although it did take quite a while.... :)
She received so many great gifts! Books, crayons, clothes, gift cards, toys, and a baby doll...I'm probably forgetting a few things.

Aunt Janet made her this gift...It says I love to see the temple I'm going there someday.

Party Food.

Juliette's birthday colors were red, white, and pink and it was all about the cupcakes. We had red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, white cupcakes with butter cream frosting, frosted animal crackers (they're pink and white), valentine colored M&M's (also red, white, and pink), cherry limeade pops, and I made a huge cupcake for Juliette's first birthday cake.
Due to Juliette's ear infection and high temperatures this week, I wasn't able to get everything done and finished the way I wanted to so...but it all turned out great!

Oh yeah...I made cupcake sugar cookies and frosted them as well!

Pink, red, and white tutu for Juliette

After I made Juliette's tutu a week or so ago I put it on her and she did NOT want it on....and I thought-there is no way that she'll wear this on her birthday! But last night our friend, Lindsy, came over to help out right before the birthday party and after she put Juliette's tutu on she smiled so big and put her hands all over the tutu like she loved it...don't hate that! :)
She's standing all the time and has even taken a few steps here and there but isn't walking quite yet.
I couldn't fit this picture on the last post and I wanted to put it on here...We're definitely proud parents! ;)
