The Decorated Wedding Cake

This summer I was able to assemble and decorate Brandon & Janet's wedding cake! It was a lot of work but also a lot of fun and I learned so many things in the process of it all. Steven helped me in tons of different ways and babysat Juliette for like 2 1/2 days straight....he was pretty happy when I finished. :)

It was a 3-tiered cake and one bride and groom cake. It was frosted with all butter-cream and had different fillings in the middle of each of the layers.

Friends Visit and Costume Cuteness

Sometimes when I ACTUALLY get ready for the day I like to take a picture so that Juliette realizes when she gets older that I wasn't always a bum. :)

Our friends came into town a couple weekends ago and they came over for a visit as they were passing through here! So we visited for a while and let Archer and Juliette meet for the first time (We secretly hope they'll get married once they're old enough) and then we went out for some ice cream.

So my cousin gave this Halloween costume to me for Juliette's baby shower before she was even born so the other day I found it and wondered if it was going to fit her for Halloween this month....and how CUTE is this little kitty!? Oh man! When I put it on her- I couldn't stop laughing because she just looked so adorable!

Then I put her in front of the mirror and she started giggling when she saw herself in it! Oh man...I love having this little girl!

Teeth and Messes

Somehow Juliette always finds the garbage! I don't know what her interest is in it but she sure does love it. Usually she takes the red tie from the garbage bag and tries to eat it....like father; like daughter! :) J/k

So I stuck her in her walker while I was in the shower and I came out to this mess! It's kind of her official 1st mess (besides her toys)....so I had to take a picture!

She has 3 teeth now! One up on top and two on the bottom...so I had to buy her a toothbrush! And she actually is good at brushing her 3 teeth! :) So cute!
